Gateway Scripts Connects and Inspires at AAPM 2024: Advancing Medical Physics Through Collaboration and Innovation.

Gateway Scripts made a significant impact at the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) 2024 meeting held in Los Angeles, CA. The event, a cornerstone for medical physicists and industry leaders, provided an excellent platform for Gateway Scripts to showcase their expertise, connect with peers, and explore the latest advancements in medical physics.

The meeting kicked off with the Varian 3Co Systems seminar, where industry experts including Ben Moga, Kevin Anthony, and other Varian product managers and engineers, shared insights into the benefits of joining Varian's 3Co Systems. This organization is dedicated to enhancing interoperability between Varian technologies and third-party companies, offering members access to a collaborative network aimed at improving clinical workflows and patient outcomes.

Following the seminar, Varian hosted a developer symposium, where Gateway Scripts was proudly represented by Matt, who delivered an engaging presentation on the MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) pattern framework. His presentation included practical examples of Binding expressions and events, highlighting how these can be utilized to create more efficient and maintainable applications within the medical physics domain.

Throughout the AAPM 2024 meeting, Gateway Scripts maintained a bustling booth, where attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the company’s offerings. The booth was a hub of activity as many physicists, both familiar and new to Gateway Scripts, stopped by to discuss the various courses, online resources, and free content available on the Gateway Scripts website. The interactions were enriching, providing a chance to connect with current supporters and to introduce Gateway Scripts to a wider audience.

Gateway Scripts was thrilled with the engagement at the event and is already looking forward to continuing these conversations and expanding their reach at AAPM 2025, scheduled to take place in Washington, DC.

The presence of Gateway Scripts at AAPM 2024 not only strengthened existing relationships but also opened new doors for collaboration and innovation in the field of medical physics. The team is excited about the future and remains committed to providing top-notch educational resources and support to the medical physics community.
